Envirothon and the After-School Activities have been cancelled for after-school (1-8) due to impending weather.

Envirothon meeting Wednesday after school

There will be an Envirothon meeting after school on Wednesday from 3:40-5:00pm.
There will be an assessment as well this day.
Look over the species of animals we discussed last week that are showcased by the Envirothon website. The list should be in your folder.
The links on this page will be very helpful for the assessment.
Also, be sure to look over the notes within your folders.

Scheduled meetings and online/app information

This year we are going to both have meetings and an online component.
Students will be able to utilize the online component and app at the time of their choosing to gain information and practice.

Envirothon Schedule

Attendance is optional, but encouraged.

Assessments will be given on dates with an (*). Students are responsible to see Mr. Walsh or Mrs. Walsh within one week of the assessment if an assessment is missed.

One point will be added to the numerator of the grade for each meeting attended.

For example 12/15 + 2 meetings attended = 14/15.

All scores will be tallied in March to determine which students will be on the NS Envirothon teams attending the competition in Summit Station during May.

Please remember, you must have a permission slip signed or a parent/guardian must email to let me know that you are permitted to stay. I cannot just take your word that you are permitted to stay.
